Import Modules
Compact-Cassette Module
The Compact-Cassette Module is designed for capturing from analog compact-cassette recorders, with optimized support for:
- Tascam 112 MK II
- Tascam 122 MK II
Like every QUADRIGA•Audio Import-Module, when used in combination with Audiofile-Inspector, the Compact-Cassette Module supports real-time audio analysis and error report generation. This allows for automatic measurement of average level or signal-to-noise ratio, among others, and automatic detection of typical errors like dropouts, hum, azimuth/phase problems plus many, many more.
Tape-Module
Tape-Module is designed for capturing from analog tape machines, with optimized support for:
- Studer A-807
- Studer A-810
- Studer A-812
- Studer A-816
- Studer A-820
Using Cube-Tec's Advanced Opto-Sensor Option, the physical condition of the tape itself is also monitored and logged (bad splices, torn tape, separation tape).
Like every QUADRIGA•Audio Import-Module, when used in combination with Audiofile-Inspector, Tape-Module supports real-time audio analysis and error report generation. This allows for automatic measurement/detection of bandwidth, signal-to-noise ratio, dropouts, hum and azimuth/phase problems plus many, many more.
DAT-Inspector Module
DAT-Inspector Module is designed for capturing from Digital Audio Tapes, with optimized support for these DAT Recorders:
- Sony PCM 7030
- Sony PCM 7040
- Sony PCM 7050
DAT-Inspector offers full timecode support, with timecode jumps and invalid areas in a timecode track being reported. Additionally CRC, mute and interpolation errors from source DAT tapes will be logged, as well as track start IDs or sample rate changes.
Like every QUADRIGA•Audio Import-Module, when used in combination with Audiofile-Inspector, DAT-Inspector supports real-time audio analysis and error report generation. This allows for automatic detection of typical errors like clicks, clipping, sample holds and block repeats plus many, many more.
9-Pin Module
The addition of the 9-Pin Module to the QUADRIGA•Audio family of Import-Modules significantly broadens the spectrum of machines that can be controlled remotely by QUADRIGA. Any device that supports the Sony 9-Pin Protocol can be controlled, as can other machines (parallel / bi-phase) - via synchronizers with 9-Pin protocol conversion.
9-Pin Module also supports a so called 'No Remote' mode, which makes it possible to capture from devices that cannot be controlled remotely (such as wax cylinders, wire recorders or standard turntables), using just a plain audio connection from these machines.
Like every QUADRIGA•Audio Import-Module, when used in combination with Audiofile-Inspector, 9-Pin Module supports real-time audio analysis and error report generation. This allows for automatic measurement of bandwidth, average level or signal-to-noise ratio, and automatic detection of errors like clicks, hum, dropouts or clipping plus many, many more.
Turntable-Module
Turntable-Module is designed for capturing from record players, with optimized support for these turntables:
- EMT 948
- EMT 950
Variations in the turntable speed are detected automatically, and like every QUADRIGA•Audio Import-Module, when used in combination with Audiofile-Inspector, Turntable-Module supports real-time audio analysis and error report generation. This allows for automatic measurement of bandwidth, average level or signal-to-noise ratio, and automatic detection of typical errors like clicks, hum or distortion plus many, many more.
