Cube-Tec @ IBC 2006
Join us at the IBC in Amsterdam this year to find out the latest about Cube-Tec’s range of digital audio solutions.
This year, Cube-Tec will be showing its latest digital audio solutions for archiving, broadcasting and post-production. New additions to the DOBBIN system will be demonstrated, including new mobile phone encoder processing units as well as the latest in automatic restoration and file encoding.
The Cube-Tec team has been a partner in the PrestoSpace research program since 2004. As project leader, Cube-Tec is responsible for the development of the PrestoSpace Audio Restoration Subsystem.

PrestoSpace
The objective of the project is to provide technical devices and systems for digital preservation of all types of audio-visual collections. The aim is to build-up preservation factories providing affordable services to all kinds of collections owners to manage and distribute their assets.
PrestoSpace will push the limits of the current technology beyond the state of the art, bringing together industrials, research institutes and stakeholders at European level to provide preservation services.
Cube-Tec was chosen as the main Research & Development partner for Audio Restoration systems. Main project leaders include BBC, Rai, INA, and other project partners like Snell & Wilcox, SWR, ORF, Joanneum Research, B & G (NL), University of Sheffield (UK) to name but a few.
IBC
The IBC exhibition will take place in Amsterdam from 8 - 12 September 2006. The IBC draws over 40,000 attendees and showcases over 800 companies from all over the globe, displaying the latest in broadcast and media technology.
