Cube-Tec @ IBC 2018
Dear Friends and Business Partners,
Come and visit us at the IBC 2018 Exhibition from 14th to 18th September held at the Amsterdam RAI.
On the show floor, Cube-Tec will present its integrated, automated QC and migration workflows for audio/video and film.
QUADRIGA•Video – the best video migration solution ever developed. QUADRIGA•Film workflow with Calibration-Inspector•Film, QC View•Film, with an in-deep Inspection Report. MXF•Legalizer – the reference for MXF Container and Bitstream correction adds a full blown video baseband analyses section.
There is even more Cube-Tec technology at IBC, see QUADRIGA•Film with the Spinner film scanner at the MWA booth at Hall 7.B24, or have a look at the EBU village hall 10.F20. Here you can see a live Multi-Cloud Artificial Intelligence Workflow.
The Cube-Tec team is part of the EBU Media Cloud and Microservice Architecture (MCMA) group and will showcase live how to leverage AI technologies from multiple cloud vendors in a single media workflow.
The upcoming IBC show is an excellent opportunity to meet up in person and discuss your concepts for improvements – see you in Amsterdam at the Cube-Tec booth hall 5.C41
QUADRIGA•Film – quality controlled film migration
QUADRIGA•Film provides a factory approach for high quality scanning of large film collections, especially homogeneous collections like 16mm broadcast news. Scanning in faster than real-time is supported. QUADRIGA•Film can remote control multiple film scanners to maximize operator efficiency. Special resolution and colour test targets are used to calibrate the film scanner in an automated process.
QUADRIGA•Film Examiner – introduces a new level on film quality inspection
Within a large film collection QUADRIGA•Film Examiner allows to identify the adequate preparation and scanning procedure for each archival film reel - based on their physical and photochemical condition. By utilizing the latest MWA spinner film scanner the examination procedure is extremely gentle to the fragile film substrate, so that typically the archive film can be examined without mechanical preparation or cleaning.
Calibration-Inspector•Film – documenting the opto-mechanical limits of film scanners
Calibration-Inspector precisely measures and documents the current opto-mechanical condition of a film scanner. This happens within a fully-automated process. Calibration-Inspector should be used before any of the archive films are scanned.
QUADRIGA•Video – Migration software for videotape collections on a large-scale
The migration station for the quality-controlled transfer of video tape contents into archive files. QUADRIGA Video supports ingesting of up to four parallel video tape streams and is optimized for easy handling. The system offers a variety of production formats as well as on the fly JPEG 2000 lossless encoding and uncompressed coding.
MXF•Legalizer – QC and automatic correction software for MXF and IMF
The ultimate MXF analysis and correction tool to achieve interoperability. MXF Legalizer provides a lossless correction method for MXF containers and MPEG, DV, JPEG 2000 or DNxHD codec bitstreams.
QUADRIGA•Audio – the world standard in quality-controlled migration of large audio collections
QUADRIGA•Audio utilizes sophisticated technology, providing real-time monitoring and logging of audio streams, in order to automatically generate technical parameters of archival significance. Thus, in addition to capturing the audio data, QUADRIGA•Audio provides collateral metadata information regarding the original source medium.
Trusted•Playback – the Quality Certification Online Service
The Trusted•Playback Online Certification Service evaluates aggregated quality measures supplied by supporting products and services. It condenses and transforms these data into easy to understand dashboard graphs. Push notifications are generate automatically when user defined threshold are exceeded.
