QUADRIGA•Video supports the new archive format already.

For the last years the Cube-Tec team supports Library of Congress in defining AS-07 the new Master Archive Format.

Federal Agencies Digital Guidelines Initiative (FADGI) with the Library of Congress worked out a new and open MXF based specification which allows to preserve rich metadata from video carrier. These metadata will otherwise get lost with other video formats. The decision and commitment of Library of Congress to transform existing archive material into the new AS-07 can be seen as clear signpost to the future.
