Cube-Tec @ NAB 2014
NAB is around the corner (April 7-10). Come and see the Cube-Tec news at booth N1633 in the north hall.
Cube-Tec will be presenting exciting results from the developments within the European research project DAVID (Digital AV Media Damage Prevention and Repair). This includes new automatic MXF File quality control and MXF File repair as well as new results in workflow decision automation based on dynamic risk evaluations.
Cube-Tec will showcase new versions of MXF Legalizer, CubeWorkflow 2.0 and wider support of the open FIMS interface standard.
MXF Legalizer - designed to solve your compliance issues and to foster MXF interoperability throughout your workplace. MXF Legalizer is a fully integrated component of CubeWorkflow 2.0, but is also available stand-alone with a webservice and a watchfolder interface.
CubeWorkflow 2.0 - lightweight Business Process Management (BPM) workgroup solution optimized for media centric organizations seeking to improve efficiency and quality control. CubeWorkflow is based on a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). It uses BPMN to graphically model Business Processes and allow the orchestration and execution of these BPMN processes on a distributed server farm. External media processes can be integrated via standardized web services. CubeWorkflow is completely designed on advanced Web technologies and is easy to use within private clouds on premises as well as in hybrid and public Internet cloud stacks. All standard graphical user-interfaces are web browser-based. CubeWorkflow allows performing of media validation processes (quality control QC) and automatic file-based repair in large-scale media collections. Within the DAVID integrated prototype tools and services the CubeWorkflow 2.0 framework will function as prototype integrator technology for FIMS services, Format Compatibility tools integration and testing.
It is already in daily use for the Austrian Broadcast and Television - ORF as MXF D-10 Repair Service.
CubeFlows™ - process modelling according to BPMN standard through web browser access. Processes can be created interactively within a design team. It offers BPMN-validation, versioning and control of user access rights.
CubeFlows is optimised for use in media organisation. As part of CubeWorkflow 2.0 it can be used to generate executable processes. Information exchange with other BPMN tools is also possible.
