Arvato Bertelsmann - Trusted Playback for 15 Ingest-Stations
Cube-Tec delivers another Dobbin Workstation using Audiofile-Inspector (AFI) to Arvato. Arvato Digital Services - a division of Bertelsmann AG - has equipped their 15 analogue tape ingest stations with Calibration-Inspector using Cube-Tec's Trusted Playback Online Service in an outsourced mass-digitisation project with public radio and TV broadcaster 'Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF)'.
More than 60.000 magnetic tapes have to be ingested in this project. With the help of the Trusted Playback Online Service, Schweizer Radio has direct access to the quality control data of every single machine.
Only the Trusted Playback Online Service by Cube-Tec enables the valuable option for SRF as a client of Arvato Digital Services to access important metadata online and whenever needed. From their office in Switzerland, SRF can validate the technical quality day by day achieved with the Studer A820/A80 tape machines placed in Gütersloh, Germany.
